This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all products, services, and technologies (collectively, the “Products”) provided by Splurge Tech LLC (“Splurge”). It is intended to protect Splurge, its users, partners, and the wider Internet community from illegal, unethical, or abusive behavior.
Use of Splurge Products constitutes acceptance of this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of access without notice. Serious violations may be reported to applicable authorities or payment partners.
1. Fair & Responsible Use
Splurge Products are offered for ordinary, lawful use. Abusive, exploitative, or excessive activity that disrupts normal operations may lead to rate limits, fees, or restricted access. All users must act lawfully, respectfully, and in a manner that does not harm others or Splurge’s reputation.
2. Customer Accountability
You are responsible for your own actions and for anyone using Splurge under your account.
You must maintain reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
Splurge may suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy. Service credits will not be issued for interruptions caused by AUP violations.
3. Prohibited Activities
a) Copyright & Unauthorized Material
Do not upload, distribute, or transmit material that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
Do not post material that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful.
Do not share material that violates export-control or sanctions laws.
You are solely responsible for the legality of all content uploaded or shared through Splurge.
b) Spam & Unsolicited Messaging
You may not use Splurge to send unsolicited or bulk messages (“spam”).
All communications must be opt-in, and verification records must be retained.
c) Unethical or Malicious Conduct
Do not distribute malware or malicious code.
Do not attempt unauthorized access, hacking, or phishing.
Do not harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person or group.
Do not interfere with or disrupt networks, systems, or services.
Do not engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading behavior.
Do not violate privacy or data-protection laws.
d) Financial Crimes & Compliance
Do not launder funds or conceal the origin of assets.
Do not evade sanctions or facilitate unlicensed financial services.
Do not operate pyramid or Ponzi schemes.
Splurge complies with applicable AML, KYC, and sanctions obligations and cooperates fully with regulators, law enforcement, and payment partners.
4. Prohibited Business Types
Adult or NSFW content, including pornography, sexual services, or sexually explicit material.
Escort or companion services.
Counterfeit goods or intellectual-property infringement.
Illegal drugs, prescription-drug sales, or related paraphernalia.
Unlicensed gambling, sweepstakes, or betting.
Multi-level-marketing or high-risk investment programs.
Weapons, ammunition, or explosives.
Surveillance equipment, hacking tools, or any activity unlawful in your jurisdiction.
Splurge reserves the right to refuse or remove any user, business, or content deemed to pose unacceptable regulatory or reputational risk.
5. Adult & User-Generated Content
Splurge supports lawful creative expression but does not allow NSFW or adult content of any kind. Profiles, wishlists, or materials that promote or depict nudity, sexual activity, or sexually suggestive content are strictly prohibited and will be removed. Repeated or egregious violations may lead to permanent suspension.
6. Non-Custodial Service
Splurge Tech LLC does not hold, control, or access private keys or funds. All transactions occur directly between user wallets on the Base network or via regulated third-party on/off-ramp providers. Splurge is not a money transmitter or financial institution.
7. Unauthorized Use of Splurge Property
Impersonating Splurge, misrepresenting affiliation, or using Splurge’s intellectual property or branding without written consent is prohibited.
8. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this policy, contact support@splurge.tech with relevant details. Splurge reviews all reports promptly and may share information with law enforcement or payment partners when appropriate.
9. Policy Changes
Splurge may revise this AUP at any time by posting an updated version at https://www.splurge.tech/legal/aup.
The updated version becomes effective on the earlier of:
The date you use Splurge after publication; or
Thirty (30) days after publication.
